Traditional Games:

Customary games and sport can form the backbone of a society and UNESCO is determined              to defend and encourage these sports to more society courage bring peoples jointly and install a  common sense of pride in a society’s cultural roots. Traditional games and sport are element of   intangible tradition and a sign of the cultural variety of our societies. They are also capable resources to transmit values of unity, diversity, comprehensiveness and cultural consciousness. UNESCO works to protect, encourage and grow TSG and to guarantee that they type an essential part of national and improvement strategies. These will all improve our end-goal of sport for peace and progress. UNESCO is presently implementing a pilot scheme to set up preparation camps in customary wrestling games for the youth of 22 African countries.
